November 14, 2018 Update-  The SCDOT contractor has installed the outfall pipe from Lybrand to Marianne Street.  They are in the process of installing the pipe across Lybrand Street.  Portions of Lybrand are closed for construction.  The fiber optic lines have been relocated and AT&T is working on testing the new fiber optic lines prior to removing the old lines.  Once the old fiber optic lines are removed, the Town's contractor will relocate the water lines.  We have asked SCDOT to provide an update of the project at the December 13, 2018 council meeting.

SCDOT has started this project.  The silt fence is installed and the utility companies are relocating their utilities to allow for construction.  (October 23, 2018) AT&T has fiber optic lines in the construction zone and they are in the process of relocating them.  This process involves installing new lines, switching service to the new lines and removal of the old lines.  The Town also has to relocate utilities but everyone is on hold waiting for AT&T to complete their work.
