Interior Lagoon Study Progress - Presentation Update

The Town contracted with Davis & Floyd to conduct an interior lagoon study on Edisto Beach to identify potential solutions for addressing both rainfall and tidal flooding. The interior lagoon system runs parallel between Palmetto Boulevard and Jungle Road from Lybrand Street to Mary Street. D&F presented an update to Town Council and citizens during the Council Work Session on 1/10/24. As part of this project, the Town and engineer welcome any feedback regarding the existing conditions of the lagoon system. Davis and Floyd will return for a public meeting to present drainage improvement recommendations and funding/capital planning recommendations. Please send comments to info@townofedistobeach.com.
