SCDHEC has issued a temporary swimming advisory for Edingsville Beach near the access point on Lost Village Trail in Colleton County. Edingsville Beach is located directly north of Edisto Beach. See SCDHEC Press Release below.

It is illegal to use any equipment to move sand on the beach. Do not move, or authorize any contractors to move, sand onto or from the beach.
